As you are probably well aware, this site helps to run an internet radio station featuring all Australian original music. Recently there have been moves by the U.S. Government to impose much higher royalty fees for internet radio stations. We are a small station which is completely funded by this site and run by volunteers. In fact, by the terms of our contract we are not allowed to run any advertising of our own on the station to help cover costs. All of this is fine as we knew we would have to support the station financially when we started. These new fees however, would raise our operating costs dramatically and would force us to review our continuing support.
